117 tools is a lot to browse. If you have landed on Vibeland for one specific thing and never looked further, this is the tour — all 17 categories, what is in each, and the tool from each one that people tend not to expect.

Everything below is free, needs no account, and has no usage limit.

Text and words

Text and writing (17 tools) is the biggest category. The obvious ones are here — word and character counter, case converter, find and replace. The useful surprise is the text diff checker, which will show you what changed between two versions of a paragraph when you are working outside a code editor and have no git to lean on.

Also worth knowing: duplicate line remover and text sorter, which between them clean up a pasted list in about four seconds.

Numbers and money

Number and maths (14 tools) covers percentages, unit conversion, a scientific calculator and a number to words converter — the last of which exists mainly for anyone writing cheques or legal amounts.

Finance and tax (6 tools) is the practical one: VAT and tax, compound interest, salary to hourly, and a break-even calculator that is genuinely handy if you are pricing something and want to know how many units clear your costs.

Design and colour

Colour and design (8 tools) has the conversions you would expect — HEX to RGB, RGB to HSL — plus a gradient generator and a tint and shade generator for building a palette out of a single brand colour.

The one to actually use is the contrast ratio checker. If you are shipping anything public-facing, checking your text against its background is the cheapest accessibility win available.

Developer territory

Web and developer (16 tools), encode and decode (9), JSON and data (6) and key generators (7) are the technical block: JSON formatting, regex testing, JWT decoding, UUID generation, CSS helpers and minifiers.

Non-developers should not skip this entirely — the Markdown converter and meta tag generator get used by plenty of people who have never opened a terminal.

Time, dates and admin

Date and time (5 tools) includes a time zone tool, a date difference calculator and a Unix timestamp converter — the last being one of those things you need roughly once a fortnight and can never remember how to do.

Marketing and social

Social and marketing (6 tools): a character counter for X, an Instagram caption formatter that handles line breaks properly, a hashtag generator, an ad copy word counter and a CTA copy generator.

The everyday categories

Productivity and life (4 tools) is where the site stops being technical: a to-do list, a habit tracker, a SMART goal formatter and an Eisenhower matrix for sorting urgent from important.

Health and fitness (3) has a water intake calculator, a sleep cycle calculator and a BMR and calorie calculator. These are rules-of-thumb, not medical advice, and should be treated as such.

The odd corners

Audio and canvas (2) holds a sine wave tone generator and a breathing exercise animator. Geography and science (2) has an Ohm’s law calculator and a wavelength visualiser. Image and media (2) covers placeholders and aspect ratios. And fun and games is exactly one coin flip simulator, which is the correct number.

The server-side nine

AI and API tools (9) is the category that works differently. OCR, background removal, PDF extraction and SSL checking cannot run in a browser tab — the first three need models that are far too heavy, and a certificate check has to actually contact the host.

Everywhere else on the site, the JavaScript runs on your device and nothing you paste is transmitted. Here it is not, and the site says so plainly rather than hiding it. Worth knowing which side of that line you are on before you upload anything sensitive.

Start at the full list and work down.
